3D Model (KMZ) Export

The KMZ format is a zipped form of Google Earth's proprietary Keyhole Markup Language (KML). These files can contain location data (latitude and longitude) along with other information (such as SketchUp geometry).

Exporting KMZ Files

To export a KMZ file:

1. Select File > Export > 3D Model. The Export Model dialog box is displayed.
2. Enter a file name for the exported file in the File name field.
3. Select the KMZ export type from the Export type drop-down list.
4. Click the Export button.
